This position is required, as a minimum, to have

  • High school math and reading skills (or equivalent)

  • Good communication, written skills, PC knowledge, detailed oriented.

  • Knowledge of machine shop operations a plus.

  • An organized individual who is a self-starter.

  • Team Player

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

  • Forklift experience

Job Summary:

Follow the production schedule to ensure jobs are kitted prior to being staged on the floor. Coordinates material replenishment systems to support production schedule. Cuts material for production when required. Assist with tooling requirements of placing orders and re-stocking tool vending machine. Assists other groups with inventory questions and verification, and supports scheduling.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare manufacturing instruction manual by job for production and update as needed.

  2. Process manufacturing books upon return for any updates and return to book rack when completed

  3. Assist with closing Job Orders and file documentation.

  4. Check ERP inventory for negative quantities and correct as necessary.

  5. Review material inventory transactions and review errors with responsible person.

  6. Coordinate cycle count activities, including assigning counts, discrepancy reconciliation, and results summarization.

  7. Coordinate various min – max (kanban) systems to ensure adequate inventory.

  8. Research inventory questions as requested from other internal support groups.

  9. Maintain warehouse rack locations and labeling.

  10. Perform other duties as may be periodically assigned.

  11. Process daily reports as needed including researching information for said report

  12. Assist maintenance department as needed
