Position Summary
A growing division of a large cosmetics development and production company located in South Florida, is seeking an ambitious and energetic accounting manager. An ideal candidate is experienced in accounting/finance, comfortable managing multiple tasks, and willing to grow into a financial leadership position.
Position Responsibilities
Prepare all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and statement of cash flows
Prepare accurate monthly financial statements
Reconcile and verify General Ledger entries.
Reconcile bank statements.
Manage accounts receivable and process invoicing and collections
Manage accounts payables and process payments
Process payroll for company employees
Meet regularly with the CFO, the Controller, and Operations to keep informed, coordinate and prioritize planning, and to offer direction.
Perform any other duties as directed.
Essential Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Minimum of 5 years Accounting and Finance experience.
Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Intelligent and articulate and can relate to people at all levels of an organization.
Proficient knowledge of computers and software including Windows; Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; and Oracle.
Strong knowledge of Federal, State, and local laws and regulations.
Strong knowledge of GAAP.
Superior written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent mathematics skills: ability to compute formulas, ratios, percentages
Time Management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
Planning: ability to think ahead and plan over a short and long-time span.
Problem analysis and problem resolutions at both a strategic and functional level.

Salary: $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 /year
