QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR

A fast-growing Food Manufacturing/Packaging and Distributing Company, located in Oakland Park Fl., is looking for a professional with some experience working in the Quality Control environment in the food business. This is a Temporary to Permanent position.

In this role, the QA Inspector needs to make sure that the production departments have carried out required steps to produce a product that meets customer's requirements from the point of view of:

• Safety (from a manufacturing and consumer stand point).

• Quality (ensure customer expectations are met

• Coaching (as the face of Quality Dept. in the factory, coach operators and Supervisors)

• Vigilance (Report to the Quality Manager any issues that are observed).

FUNCTIONS:

• Ensure that specifications are being used correctly and respected by production employees.

• Audit the testing and inspection activities for method compliance.

• Audit production to ensure that coding requirements are being followed.

• Conduct random product quality audits following appropriate procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

• English knowledge (perfect)

• Minimum 2 years previous experience in Quality Control, preferable for a food company.

• Computer knowledge (Intermediate)

• Associate Degree or High School complete.
