CASAC to support local, reputable organization.
The CASAC is responsible for the support and mentoring of clients across all elements of care. The CASAC Counselor conducts clinical substance use disorder (SUD) treatment under the diagnostic guidance and plan prescription of the Clinical Director. The CASAC will manage a patient caseload, conduct group therapy, individual counseling, family counseling, and client and family groups. S/he will act as the central receiver of pertinent clinical data and works closely with the Clinical Director in the formulation of treatment planning, responding to crisis within the milieu, and planning for the needs of clients to ensure efficacy of service delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION:
3+ years of experience working in a clinical setting with individuals with SUD preferred.
Must be a team oriented individual with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, excellent written and verbal communication, organizational and computer skills required.
Ability to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset and at times hostile people.
Full Time 4pm - 12am Tuesday - Saturday
