Assistant Team Leader/Press Operator - Warren, PA

Schedule: 2nd Shift: M-F 2:30PM-11PM, OT as needed (including weekends)

Job Description: 2nd Shift Team Leader/Supervisor will have the responsibility of maintaining and improving molding and secondary processes that allow us to meet or exceed production efficiencies while providing our customers with quality parts and assure all safety and housekeeping procedures are met.

Necessary Experience:

• Plastics injection molding: 3+ years (required)
• Knowledge of fork trucks and pallet jacks

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must have Full knowledge or plastic injection molding industry. Process and trouble shoot injection molding machines, startup/shut down equipment.
• Process improvement - find ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
• Knowledge of resin process temperatures and drying temperatures.
• Trouble shoot machinery to produce high quality parts to meet specifications.
• Responsible for meeting or exceeding company standards for efficiency and utilization.
• Verify process parameters and implement changes as appropriate to improve cycle times.
• Monitor processes and workstation information as presented in mold setup sheets and ensure accuracy and conformance to company standards.
• Work in conjunction with Quality Department to improve process control.
• Trouble-shoot processing problems including normal adjustments and checks.
• Ensure injection molding machines and supporting automated systems.
• Assure scrap issues are addressed and fixed in a timely manner
• Assure housekeeping standards are met.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
• Wrap skids
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management.

• Thermal Set: 1 year (Preferred)
• Manufacturing Supervisor: 1 year (Preferred)
