Contract-for-Hire Accounts Payable Manager needed for Apparel Manufacturing & Distribution client in Midtown West. This position reports to the Assistant Controller. Easily accessible to multiple trains & subway lines.

Responsibilities include:

Supervising the Accounts Payable Function

Leading all areas of AP including day to day Quality Assurance, Reporting, Metrics

Evaluating AP function & identifying best practices for driving processes and change across the department

Summarize and Report AP metrics to senior management

AP staff oversight including accounts payable analyst and AP clerks

Applicant Requirements:

6+ years of operational accounting experience

3+ years of AP experience

Management experience including demonstrated leadership abilities, team training and hiring AP staff

Attention to detail

Ability to establish and meet deadlines
