Senior Accountant - Beverage & Spirits
International Beverage & Spirits firm in Midtown is looking to hire an experienced Senior Accountant for a 3 month contract assignment.
Responsibilities include:

Reconciliation of all account balances including sub-ledgers to the general ledger.

Preparation of journal entries and accruals for month end close.

Perform variance analysis for P/L accounts.

Preparation of supporting schedules (i.e. cash, fixed asset).

Preparation of monthly ad hoc financial reports pertaining to projects.

Assist in the design and preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

Assist in the quarterly and annual audits.
-
Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

A minimum of four+ years of progressive accounting experience.
-
Ability to work autonomously as well as a key-member of a multidisciplinary team.

Accounting or Finance for a Consumer Products or Beverage & Spirits organization
-
Advanced Microsoft Excel - including exposure to macros, v-lookups and pivot tables
SAP or Oracle.

Hyperion experience
-
Ability to commit to a long-term contract assignment
