Senior Financial Analyst – Midtown New York

The Senior Financial Analyst needed for software services provider in Midtown.

The position reports to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) requiring a professional solid financial reporting and analysis skills, revenue analysis and strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have experience in an entrepreneurial working environment, has had experience with core FP&A responsibilities (budgeting/planning) as well as reporting aggregation from multiple data sources.

Responsibilities Include:

Prepares analysis of organizations financial performance. 

• Finalizes forecasts, reviews and reports on key business metrics. 

• Responsible for reporting monthly forecast and analysis of variances.

• Collaborates with team on monthly financial reporting package.

• Analyzes actual results vs. budgets/forecasts.

• Designs and implements financial models.

• Performs highly complex analysis regarding the company’s financial performance.

• Works directly with functional VPs, Directors and other senior management providing specialized support for decision-making processes.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree required

• 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally working in corporate reporting or FP&A

• Advanced Excel skills

• Strategic planning and modeling abilities.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Strong analytical skills.

• A self-starter and possess the intellectual curiosity to be a problem solver.

• Ability to work in a team environment is essential.

• Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
