Warehouse Process Engineer- $25.00 per hour
Monday - Friday 7 AM - 3:30 PM
We are currently seeking a Warehouse Process Engineer to assist with setting up our new warehouse. This is a Temporary 4-6 month assignment located in Madison, AL
Responsibilities:
Create process requirement and efficient materials flows for our warehouse layout
Develop requirements for parts flow throughout the warehouse
Crate drawings showing process flow of part and forklifts and tuggers
Define and implement improvements based on issues and findings
Support the implementation and optimization of the warehouse – occupancy level, replenishment process, route optimization
Create, review and update work instructions and provide training as needed
Conduct process audits
Plan and manage process of new warehouse layout
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or Engineering
Experience working in warehouse logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing environment
At least 2 years of experience using AutoCAD
Excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and judgment skills
Ability to organize and engage in multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
Experience in material flow and warehouse layout preferred
