Manufacturing Engineer

1^st Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Salary: $80,000 - $85,000 annually

We are currently seeking experienced candidates for an automotive production facility in Pulaski, TN.

Job Duties:

Responsible for creation and troubleshooting of PLC programs, robot programs and controls wiring projects, as defined by the MFE Manager.

• Development and troubleshooting of PLC programs (primarily Siemens) for various types of equipment

• Development and troubleshooting of robot programs (primarily Comau robots)

• Design, installation and troubleshooting of control wiring for existing equipment and possible equipment to be designed and built in house

• Daily production support, for advanced equipment downtime issues

• Kaizen activities

• Process improvements, to reduce cycle time 

and increase output

• Equipment design input

• ECR/PCR Management support

• Provide support in project coordination activities

• Provide support and training to employees, as required

• All those activities generated as a result of changes, requirements and/or improvement in the process of the applicable area

• Availability to work any shift

Requirements:

• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering or similar technical degree (5 years of experience working as a Process or Manufacturing Engineer in in the field setting can be substituted for the degree)

• Minimum of 2 years of directly relevant working experience,1 year minimum in the area

• Quality and environmental systems

• Problem solving techniques

• Communication techniques

• Knowledge of computer packages (MS OFFICE)
