Robotic Technician

 About Position

Trailer Component Manufacturing, a Division of Buyers Products Company, and a growing OEM trailer component manufacturer is seeking a skilled professional to join their team as a Robotic Technician.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Program robots to weld new jobs on multi-arm robotic cells.

• Setup and maintain (13) Fanuc and 3 Motoman robotic work centers

• Set welding parameters to ensure welds meet size, quality, and location specifications

• Able to read blueprints

• Drive the continuous improvements of all set up programs and work cell setups

• Monitor work cell production quotas on an hourly basis

• Assure that ISO quality policies and procedures are being followed

• Maintain a strong culture of safety and good housekeeping

Education & Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience writing and tracing programs on complex weldments

• Certification or some formal coursework is preferred but not required

• knowledge of “seam tracking’ and “touch sensing,”

• Sound understanding of the GMAW welding process

• Experience maintaining goose neck and tool center-point calibration standards

• Be able to troubleshoot weld quality issues
