Management Assistant (Heavy Equipment Dealer)

Heavy Equipment Dealer has an immediate career opportunity for a dependable employee to efficiently support the daily operations of their Baltimore facility. The Operations Management Assistant will provide administrative and operational support to the Service, Rental, and Equipment departments. This opportunity offers competitive pay, benefits package, 401k, and paid time off.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and handle internal and external customer calls

  • Open and close work orders within company guidelines

  • Insure submittal of PDI check lists

  • Invoice preventive maintenance agreement services

  • Match warranty credits memo’s to invoices and send to office for processing

  • Create and process all service department purchase orders

  • Schedule and prioritize delivery of all sales related equipment with salesman and Rental Manager

  • Organize new, used, and rental equipment in yard

  • Update branch used equipment list

  • Handle walk-in sales, service and rental customers

  • Inspect all equipment entering and leaving the yard, record any damage and have delivery ticket signed

  • Insure rental contracts are signed before equipment leaves the yard

  • Control inventory of all rental equipment and attachments in branch

  • Maintain branch fuel logs and send to accounting monthly

 

Qualifications:

  • Must have Associate’s Degree or equivalent

  • Equipment or related industry experience preferred

  • Must pass criminal background and drug screening

  • Must possess valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
