Assistant Parts Manager

A respected construction company is seeking an experienced, reliable assistant parts manager who possesses the skills and abilities to order parts based on mechanics’ needs in addition to maintaining an accurate inventory of vehicles and equipment. This is a direct hire position based out of the Finksburg facility.



  • Process, pull and maintain parts inventory including reordering as required

  • Process invoices/packing slips in an organized and efficient fashion

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and enter records into applicable accounting program

  • Make recommendations on what parts should be purchased at best value for company

  • Review and verify correct cost codes and equipment numbers in parts accounting program.

  • Drive to dealerships as needed

  • Assist in all purchases for shop including parts and supplies

  • Must be able to handle the physical requirements of climbing up and down, stooping, crouching, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds



  • Will have prior mechanical, inventory and/or parts management experience

  • Excellent communication skills with attention to detail

  • Must be able to work independently

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
