Immediate opportunity for an experienced IT Project Manager to assist a government entity in the successful upgrade of their CGI Advantage Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. This project will involve implementing several features available in version 3.11 of Advantage ERP software that did not exist in version 3.8 or that were deferred during the last upgrade. There are several commercial software packages that have required interfaces to the ERP system including Kronos Time and Attendance, SmartFind Express Substitute Management, Frontline Applicant Tracking, and SilkRoad Onboarding/Offboarding. Changes to the time and leave reporting and the chart of accounts structure used in Advantage HRM are critical to the success of implementing these features. ERP Upgrade Scope - Modules / Functionality: • Performance Budgeting (BRASS replacement) • General Accounting / Disbursements • Procurement / Vendor Self Service • Inventory Management • Fixed Assets Management • Travel and Expense Management • Human Resources Management • Payroll • Benefits • Employee Self Service • Manager Self Service • infoAdvantage • Upgrade Existing ERP System Interfaces to External Systems Responsibilities: • Lead communications relating to project activities, issues, and risks • Lead bi-weekly status reports, periodic progress reports and monthly steering committee executive updates • Maintain project scope as defined in the change control plan • Lead development of work plans for resources • Schedule monitoring • Manage a centralized SharePoint repository for project related documents • Oversee reporting/infoAdvanatage • Oversee interface analysis/migration • Oversee user acceptance test planning and execution • Oversee training preparation and execution Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Public Administration, Computer Science, Communications or a related field • Three years of experience as a project manager, business analyst, change management analyst, systems analyst or closely related experience in the analysis of information technology organizations and systems • Thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of planning, developing, implementing, and maintaining computer information systems • Thorough knowledge of processes, methods and techniques utilized to analyze and evaluate business operations • Thorough knowledge of project management and program planning • Knowledge of programming concepts and the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) • Skill in analyzing and evaluating administrative processes for automation • Skill in designing and documenting automated processes. Skill in application and system programming. Skill in the operation of computers and peripheral equipment • Ability to analyze and evaluate the feasibility and suitability of information technology projects • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships • Ability to communicate effectively • Ability to coordinate the work of a team with the work of other units within the Office of Information Technology and County agencies • Ability to develop needs assessments and prepare administrative reports • Understanding of data integration across diverse back-end database management systems i.e. SQL, Oracle, MySQL etc. • Knowledge and experience with SharePoint custom development platform • Knowledge and experience with Angular JS for User Interface and MS .Net backend • Experience managing third Party integrations • Experience with defining and managing Reporting needs and requirements • Knowledge and experience with system re-engineering
