We are seeking experienced Hotel Housemen who have 2 + years working in Hotels, Resorts, or Country clubs. Role Summary:

General cleaning and organizing of public areas and rooms. Assists room attendants by stripping rooms of all linen and takes linen to laundry rooms, deep cleaning of carpets, and general cleaning in public areas, and room attendant cart trash disposal.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Maintains the overall cleanliness of the hotel’s public areas by cleaning all assigned areas thoroughly on a daily basis

· Clean hallways, common areas, vending areas, and stairwells. (Mopping, vacuuming, wiping)

· Clean elevators, lobby area, public restrooms, offices, and meeting room space, if needed

· Deliver soiled linen to the housekeeping office and return clean linen to housekeeping linen/storage rooms if needed (carrying, lifting up to 50 pounds)

· Remove trash from housekeeping carts and common areas and deliver to the dumpster if needed (lifting, carrying up to 50 pounds)

· Stock and maintain housekeeping cart and linen/storage rooms

· Properly use chemicals, cleaners, and cleaning equipment (reading)

· Participate in deep cleaning and carpet cleaning (spraying, pushing, and vacuuming)

· Assist in receiving, opening, and storing supplies (stocking, placing)

· Assist in other housekeeping or maintenance responsibilities if needed

· Turns in articles found in public areas to lost and found

· Perform other duties as requested, such as cleaning unexpected spills and executing special guest requests.

· Assist other housekeeping staff members in maintaining clean and organized work and public areas.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED

- 2 + years previous experience working in a Hotel, Resort, Or Country cub as a houseman

- Able to read, write, and understand simple instructions and correspondence

- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.

- MUST be able to pass a background check and drug screen

- Must have reliable transportation
