This is a great opportunity with a thriving company in Fort Myers, Florida.
SCHEDULE:
M-F, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (or until projected duties/job is completed)
10 minute break at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
30 minute lunch at 11:30 a.m.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties are typical of those performed by employees in this job title; however, employees may perform other related duties, and not all duties listed are necessarily performed by each employee in the job title.
• Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, or product code
• Restock material in assigned bin location; or fill requisitions for materials and distribute items to designated delivery trucks
• Stack or assemble materials into bundles and band bundles together; package orders for shipping, pick up or truck delivery
• Complete Material Movement paperwork
• Open boxes, crates, and other containers
• Assist in counting of physical inventory
• Keep warehouse and work area organized at all times
• Comply with Company and OSHA policies; participate in safety and accident prevention meetings
• Wear safety equipment (PPE) at all times – MUST wear hardhat at all times during work hours
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Able to lift over 50 lbs
• Spanish/English is a plus but not required. Will need to have basic understanding of English.
• Hard worker, reliable, dependable and accountable.
• Must be able to work in a clean un-air-conditioned warehouse.
• Able to correctly read a tape measure
• Able to work overtime as needed
• A good eye for qualify
