Welder

We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience welding thick metal, specifically ranging from 1 inch to 1.5 inches in thickness. This role requires a strong understanding of welding standards, particularly AWS D1.1 and D1.4, to ensure the highest quality and safety in all welding tasks.

Hours: 7am-4pm 

Location: Spanish Fork 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding on thick metal materials, ranging from 1 inch to 1.5 inches.
• Ensure all welding tasks meet AWS D1.1 and D1.4 standards.
• Prepare and set up welding equipment for the specific task at hand.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts and procedures.
• Inspect and test welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws.
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure it is in good working condition.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specification.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a MIG Welder, particularly with thick metals.
• Strong knowledge of AWS D1.1 and D1.4 welding codes and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Proficient in using welding equipment and tools.
• Ability to pass a welding test that demonstrates your skills and adherence to required standards.
