Mechanic

Order Type : Temp To Full-Time

Shift: 7:30am-4:00pm Mon-Fri Pay Rate: 22-24 DOE The position will require employees to do the following tasks which include but are not limited to: performing work of considerable difficulty in the repair and maintenance of vehicles and other equipment, traveling to job sites to repair equipment and educate customers on said equipment, keeping track of inventory, and customer's equipment being repaired. Employees will be required to do all of these tasks under little to no supervision. Essential Functions: - Diagnosing, rebuilding and repairing vehicles and equipment - Performing inspections and preventative maintenance of vehicles and equipment -Preparing and maintaining records, inventory, and reports. - Wiring and rewiring electrical systems on various equipment. Traveling to various job sites to repair equipment and educate customers on said equipment. Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, employees are frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, electrical shock, moving mechanical parts and vibration. Additionally, employees are occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions. Also, the noise level in the work environment can be loud. Preffered Education/Experioence: Previous experience as Mechanic, Experience/Certification in electrical or arc welding While performing the duties of this job, are regularly required to talk and hear. Additionally, this position is very active and requires driving, traveling long distances, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the day. Additionally, employees must frequently lift and/or move items over 75 pounds.
