Job Title: Machine Operator II
Hours: 5am-3:30pm M-Thursday, Fridays as needed
Location: Provo, UT
Job Qualifications:
? Prior experience in a manufacturing company is preferred but not required.
? Prior experience in operating CNC machines is preferred.
? Ability to read, interpret and follow safety rules and Standard Operating Procedures.
? Effectively give and receive feedback.
Responsibilities:
? Complete tasks as assigned by Production Supervisor
? Remove burs, sharp edges, mill scale, weld splatter, grease and any other dirt or grime from parts
? Rework welds or parts with quality issues – do not pass bad parts to the next workstation
? Measure parts and compare to established tolerance ranges (when applicable)
? Prepare and setup all parts for fabrication in automated machinery
o The saw operator is responsible for operating the overhead crane and bringing in raw material
o The saw operator is responsible for running the manual saw
o Bundle preparation at the saws requires some basic MIG welding
o The operator may need to use a forklift (training will be provided)
? Transport completed parts to next workstation
o The operator may need to use a forklift (training will be provided)
? Perform tool changeover and fixture setup
? When necessary, the operator will assist maintenance in troubleshooting and in performing more extensive maintenance procedures.
