Galvanizer

The Galvanizing position plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process by applying a protective zinc coating to steel or iron products to prevent rusting. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all galvanizing processes are executed efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall quality of the final product.

Hours: 7am-4pm M-F

Location: Spanish Fork, UT

Duties

• Prepare metal surfaces for galvanizing by cleaning and removing any contaminants.
• Operate and monitor galvanizing equipment, ensuring proper temperatures and chemical concentrations.
• Dip or coat metal parts in molten zinc according to established procedures.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance, checking for uniformity and adherence to specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety guidelines and protocols.
• Document production activities and report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
