Newly opened position with our client in NE Wichita due to growth. Excellent opportunity to join this emerging employer as they increase product services and lines. As a leader in metal finishing services for aerospace and industrial clients, their expected growth this year will include increased assembly contracts as well as machining capabilities.
Job Duties:

Review purchase orders and coordinate changes to manufacturing planning internally in a timely manner.

Create and release work orders (traveler) by interpreting Drawings, Specifications, and Purchase Order Requirements to the shop floor through the Visual computer, network system.

Establish and maintain shop floor techniques, procedures and visual aids.

Write/establish work procedures for new production and processes.

Engineer and implement process improvement projects as assigned.

Maintain all current routing and constantly review it, making the necessary changes to routing to make it an easier and more cost effective process.
Qualifications:

Possess the ability to read and control blueprints and planning related documentation.

Have to know and understand, a variety of customers specs, the customers individual routing, what their requirements are, etc.

Strong computer skills are necessary to be efficient (Microsoft Word, Excel). CAD skills are a plus.

Should be able to utilize the following measuring instruments; calipers, dial indicators, micrometers, scales, etc.

Must have strong communication skills, a beneficial attitude and be willing to learn
Direct Hire
Salary range $35,000 - 45,000/yr DOE
7am to 3:30pm, M-F
