Pro Talent Group, a division of MS-IL Staffing & Packaging, and its local client are NOW HIRING a full-time Maintenance Technician in the Indianapolis, Indiana, area! The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability by repairing and maintaining a wide range of processing equipment across the plant. Job Responsibilities: · Review the work schedule, check equipment and supplies required to perform the work scheduled, and prepare for operations. This will include Preventative Maintenance. · Conduct shift turnovers, coordinate line calls, review assigned maintenance tasks, address equipment issues, and assist line operations, including guiding outside contractors. · Evaluate both emergency and non-emergency situations and respond accordingly. · Troubleshoot, maintain, and install diverse electrical and production equipment. · Interpret and comprehend blueprint schematics. · Execute preventative maintenance tasks and utilize maintenance software for streamlined production processes. · Collaborate on repairs and provide support to all team members. · Provide inputs to supervisors to schedule maintenance. · Perform other required tasks as assigned. Job Requirements: · 1+ years of experience working maintenance in a production, manufacturing or distribution environment with automated machinery Physical Requirements: · Can Lift/Carry/Push/Pull up to 50 lbs. occasionally · Exert 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25-50 pounds of force frequently Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
