Pro Talent Group, a division of MS-IL Staffing & Packaging, and its local client are NOW HIRING a full-time Maintenance Planner in the Indianapolis, Indiana, area! Job Overview: Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, performs a variety of administrative and technical support duties, including coordinating and developing the preventative maintenance database. Job Duties & Responsibilities: · Coordinates development of preventive maintenance database, including data input, and monitors, audits and maintains the accuracy and integrity of the preventive maintenance database. · Develops, produces, and assists in generating regular and special preventive maintenance system reports. · Researches, gathers data, analyzes, and documents Maintenance’s needs to automate current processing, address problem areas, and improve existing workflow within preventive maintenance system. · Provides technical assistance and training to Maintenance staff in the operation, configuration, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of preventive maintenance program. · Communicates with CMMS program vendor’s technical support staff regarding software upgrades, needed program modifications, and technical issues. · Effectively write work orders with clear and concise work scope. Plan for all jobs to increase “wrench time” and maximize efficiency. Compiles information into an electronic “job package” that is ready for Mechanics and communicates with Mechanics and Supervisors regarding critical steps in the process. Upon completion of jobs communicates with Mechanics and supervisors regarding ideas that would make future jobs more efficient. With maintenance management assistance · Maintain a spreadsheet of all maintenance backlog by area, priority, and equipment availability. · Assist in making safety procedure including lock out tag out available to employees. Ensure all aspects of company safety policy are incorporated into the job plan. · Perform other duties as assigned Education & Experience Required: · Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience plus 3 years of experience in manufacturing, maintenance planning or inventory coordination. · Strong Maintenance Program experience preferred. · Prior experience with Maintenance Connection a plus. · English Required, Spanish a plus Skills: · Proficient in Microsoft Office (Windows, Excel, Outlook) with aptitude for learning new applications. · Skilled in reading and interpreting documents, including safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. · Strong technical understanding of manufacturing and packaging equipment, as well as complex diagrams. · Thorough knowledge of industrial maintenance and engineering principles. · Effective written and verbal communication skills for professional interactions with customers and colleagues. · Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. · Demonstrates attention to detail, professionalism, and consistently produces accurate work. · Excellent organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines. Physical Requirements: · Can regularly talk, hear, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. · Can frequently climb up and down stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. · Can lift up to 25lbs regularly, up to 20lbs frequently, and occasionally up to 70lbs Work Environment: · While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to the following environmental factors: dirt, grease, fumes, cold, noise, dust, and extreme heat.
