Pro Talent Group, a division of MS-IL Staffing & Packaging, and its local client are NOW HIRING a full-time Maintenance Technician in the Indianapolis, Indiana, area! The Maintenance Technician’s role is to follow a preventive maintenance schedule on a daily basis and may include the inspection of all plant equipment’s bearings, gearboxes, and other equipment to ensure proper operation, maintain lubrication intervals and exact lubrication quantities, and may include monthly checks of fluid levels, oil sampling, and wear prevention. Assists in the repair of machinery, and equipment, by performing the following duties. Job Duties & Responsibilities: · Perform Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures. · Perform conveyor lubrication and inspection tasks. · Lubrication and inspection of all machinery and packaging equipment. · Perform bearing, conveyance and line condition reporting. · Oil room storage cleaning and maintenance. · Keep tools and work area clean and sanitary. · Follow all safety procedures and work as safe as possible at all times. · Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s). · Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary. · Assist Production Maintenance Technicians as needed. · Maintain Lubrication logs. · Enter data into Maintenance CMMS software. · Maintain a positive work atmosphere and interaction with customers, co-workers, and management. · All other duties as assigned. Education & Experience Required: · High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred. · 2 years related experience and/or training in Food or Beverage manufacturing maintenance or High-Speed manufacturing equipment. · Scissor Lift and forklift certification required. Skills for Success: · Strong problem-solving skills. · Familiarity with the use of hand and power tools. · Ability to read and interpret written information. · Strong ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. · Ability to work independently, as well as, working in a team. · Demonstrates attention to detail and produces accurate work product. · Effective written and verbal communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate professionally with customers and co-workers. Work Environment: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is regularly exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; extreme cold and extreme heat.
