Position: Warehouse Picker
Shift: 2nd shift, Monday to Thursday, 5:00PM-3:30AM
Pay:$18.22/hr
Location: Plainfield
JOB SUMMARY:
The case picker is responsible for selecting items to fill orders utilizing RF technology to complete these orders. A case picker must be always on time and able to work long hours on their feet. They are strong and deft with an ability to “pick up” on small details. We also expect you to be “picky” when it comes to ensuring the quality of orders. The job will require an individual who is energetic, detail oriented and safety minded who can function in a fast-paced environment. Case picking product to a pallet while operating an electric pallet jack. Product, size, and weight of boxes will vary throughout the day. Could be standing and/or walking for long periods daily while frequently bending, twisting, reaching, and consistently lifting up to 50 lbs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The duties and responsibilities of this position shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following:

Operations of hand jacks
-
Operate RF scanners to accurately locate, fill orders and effectively manage inventory
-
Accurately count location prior to pick and after pick to ensure pick accuracy.

Build pallets according to weight and size to prevent any crushing of product.

Wrap pallets prior to staging
-
Proper placement of shipping labels on the completed pallets prior to staging.

Staging cargo within the warehouse in a safe and orderly manner

Responsible for general housekeeping to ensure warehouse standards of cleanliness and organization
are maintained. This may include sweeping, consolidation of product, removal of dunnage and other tasks as needed.

Adhere to health and safety policies when performing picking assignments

Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements
Qualifications Required:
-
Ability to show up to work on time and work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment

Excellent verbal communication skills
-
Ability to lift, up to at least 50 pounds
-
Strong attention to detail
-
Submit to and pass a background check.
Preferred:
-
High school diploma or GED preferred
-
Previous warehouse experience is a plus
