JOB Duties/Responsibilities:
Forklift driving safety is key. Forklift Drivers must stay up to date on health and safety requirements & forklift operating procedures. Other responsibilities may include:

Maneuvering forklifts in busy industrial environments

Consolidating partial pallets for incoming goods

Stacking and unstacking large quantities of goods onto shelves or pallets

Stacking wooden pallets and packaging goods with plastic wraps
-
Moving goods from storage to loading areas for transport

Unloading deliveries and relocating goods to designated storage areas
-
Ensuring forklift driving areas are free from spills or obstructions

Checking forklift equipment for faults or damages regularly PERSONAL Qualifications/Skills:
-
Works well with a team to coordinate the movement of goods

Can itemize and record stock for inventories

Knowledge: o Warehouse health and safety requirements o Industrial storage procedures, such as stacking pallets

License: Accredited forklift operating license PERSONAL Education/Experience:
-
Experience working in a warehouse or on a construction site operating forklifts, heavy goods vehicles, or other industrial machinery §

Level 2 Certificate: Forklift Truck Operations

Similar industrial settings experience ON THE JOB:
-
Ability to work long shifts in cramped, loud, and potentially hazardous industrial environments

At least 6 months experience operating a Reach Truck is REQUIRED.
Stand or sit for long periods of time
- Reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch and frequently required to
climb or balance
- Regularly lift and/or move 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds
by hand
- Ability to add, subtracts, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole
numbers, fractions and decimals.
- Ability to read, comprehend and complete basic checklists, forms or other related
documents.
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
- Balances team and individual responsibilities.
Responsible for loading, unloading and moving materials within the Warehouse
in a safe and efficient manner, and for inventory integrity. Fills client orders
within Crane SOPs. Client specific role.
Requirements: 1+ years sit-down experience- with the understanding that they will be working with a reach truck at high levels once at the new facility in Hebron. This position does have some floor work that requires heavy lifting of boxes, requirement 50lb lift.
Shift: M-F 8:30am-5pm - weekend work is available and voluntary. A flexible schedule would be preferred but not required.
