Pro Talent Group, a division of MS-IL Staffing & Packaging, and its local client are NOW HIRING a full-time Journeyman Maintenance Technician in the Greensburg, Indiana, area! Salary Range: $33-36/hr - $2 shift premium Shift: 2nd Shift – 6pm-6:30am, 2-2-3 rotating schedule The Journeyman Maintenance Technician’s role is to be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks on all production and support equipment. Perform all preventative maintenance as scheduled and continuously review and improve PM systems to drive down performance losses and increase equipment reliability.? Job Duties & Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and implement corrective repairs on all manufacturing and support equipment as qualified in areas of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repair. Perform preventative maintenance activities on all equipment and facilities as determined by established maintenance schedules. Complete a variety of scheduled repairs and improvement projects as directed by leadership on all equipment and facilities. Train production employees as well as other technicians on proper operation and care of manufacturing equipment (i.e. PM, adjustments, proper settings, etcetera). Complete all required training classes and O.J.T. Assist with installation and relocation of equipment as directed by leadership. Minor fabricating, modifying, and installing as needed; fixtures, guards, etcetera as requested by leadership. Operate tool room equipment as needed: lathes, mills and grinders. Support the 5S, safety and all other company programs as directed by leadership. Education & Experience Required: Associate degree in industrial maintenance Four years of hands-on Industrial Maintenance experience. Department of Labor Journeyman Card. Advanced training in Hydraulics, PLC, Industrial power, and machining. Skills for Success: Ability to be self-managed, scheduling and performing work unsupervised, reliable, motivated, dedicated, and committed. Good communication skills with operators, other mechanics and resources. Proactive individual that takes responsibility for their equipment, line, coworkers and the continuous improvement of the operation. Able to work in a team environment where honest communication, a positive attitude, engagement, and personal accountability is expected. Detail oriented individual who accurately records information. Able to work off-shifts, weekends & extended shifts. Able to work with computers (navigating systems, recording information, using to find information to perform the job). Must have ability to understand oral and written instructions in English. Must have good job performance and attendance records. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & handle multiple tasks effectively. Physical Demands: Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to work in aerial lifts up to 45-50 feet in the air. Must be able to work in a compromised position for long periods of time (i.e. under, inside, and above equipment). Associates are required to hold and operate power tools in normal and awkward positions. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs for short periods of time. Must be able to climb stairs and work off a ladder Must be able to operate heavy machinery, including but not limited to, forklifts, aerial lifts, cranes, etc.
