Pro Talent Group, a division of MS-IL Staffing & Packaging, and its local client are NOW HIRING a full-time Production Supervisor in the Indianapolis, Indiana, area! Salary Range: $60-65k Shift: 1st shift, 7am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring that production goals, quality standards, and safety protocols are met. This role requires a hands-on leader who can motivate, guide, and support team members while driving continuous improvement and operational success. Key Responsibilities: Lead and direct a team of production workers, assigning tasks, providing coaching, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve efficiency. Ensure all products meet quality standards by conducting regular inspections and resolving defects. Train new employees on safety procedures, equipment use, and production protocols. Prepare and maintain production reports, tracking progress and identifying opportunities for improvement. Maintain a safe and clean work environment, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. Confidently make real-time decisions to keep production on track. Requirements: 3+ years of experience in a production environment, with prior leadership experience. Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety protocols. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Problem-solving mindset, capable of identifying and addressing production issues effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented setting. Must align with company culture, be proactive, and committed to continuous improvement. Skills for Success: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong decision-making and critical-thinking abilities. Physical Demands & Work Environment: Must be able to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, and climb as needed. Ability to lift at least 25 lbs for short periods. Work will be performed in a food manufacturing facility following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), requiring the use of hair/beard nets, safety shoes, and uniform shirts. Restrictions on jewelry, piercings, and artificial nails/eyelashes apply. The facility is not climate-controlled, and production areas may have slippery floors.
