Job Description:
Looking for Heavy Equipment Technicians for various shifts. Candidates must have a clean driving record, at least five years of heavy equipment and mining experience, be able to pass a background and drug test. Technicians must have their own tools (ask for required tool list). Our Heavy Equipment Technicians work a demanding schedule and are away from home frequently. Candidates must be self-starters, self-motivated, reliable, have good customer service skills, have good communication skills, have above average technological aptitude, be willing to learn and be adaptive.• Clean driving record •MSHA 5000-23 surface mining current •Must own minimum tools - ask for tool list • heavy equipment service and repair experience • welding experience • Service Truck experience • mining experience •Computer and electronic literacy a must.
Qualifications:
Our qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years of experience.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Ability to follow procedures and pay attention to detail
- Ability to stand, and bend for extended periods of time.
You must be willing to wear the appropriate PPE such as eye protection as needed, steel toed boots, long pants, long sleeve shirts, and reflective vest.
