  1. PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Manages the day-to-day office activities of the Global Sterilization and Fumigation to ensure accounts and records are kept up to date.   Tasks include accounts payable/accounts receivable, tracking and issuing purchase orders, transportation and logistics, receiving customer calls and emails, and other duties as necessary.


  1. ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  2. Understands, participates and is aligned with Global’ s Food safety goals and objectives.
  3. Designing and implementing office policies.
  4. Updating health and safety policies and ensuring that they are being adhered to.
  5. Directing customer complaints and inquiries to proper authority.
  6. Maintaining office correspondence.
  7. Ensuring an adequate supply of stationery and equipment in the office.
  8. Ensuring a safe work environment for all employees.
  9. Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive data.
  10. Filling out forms related to batch records (such as the Treatment Parameter Form), maintaining shipping/receiving logs, directing visitors to appropriate members of management.
  11. Responsible for special assignments as required.
  12. Maintains inventory of treated and untreated goods, which requires going out in the warehouse and production areas.
  13. Trained as a backup chamber operator in case of emergency or as needed for vacation relief.


  1. MAJOR OR UNUSUAL PROBLEMS:
  2. Constant vigilance is required to stay abreast of numerous workplace changes as they occur.
  3. Recognize need for, develop and recommend office handling methods aimed at eliminating errors in record keeping


  1. DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY:

Primary Authority

  • Reporting Food Safety and Quality issues to Management
  • Decisions on personnel direction, training, scheduling and discipline of personnel 
  • Full decision-making authority in absence of the President. 
  • Major corrective action requirements.
