The IT Administrative Support Specialist primary responsibilities are in the areas of user and desktop support (hardware and software), helpdesk liaison, and data management as well as various IT support administrative tasks. The position will perform a variety of moderately intricate information technology support duties to ensure smooth delivery of technology services within Dynamic Isolation Systems (DIS). IT Administrative Support Specialist will monitor, operate, and/or coordinate and assist other DIS personnel in the operation of computer hardware, software, and peripherals to achieve desired results. The IT Administrative Support Specialist will utilize computer equipment, software, and diagnostic tools to perform a broad range of customer assistance; Leverages technology to achieve improved results and shares technical knowledge throughout the DIS organization. The IT Administrative Support Specialist performs with minimum supervision and may act as lead when the need arises. The IT Administrative Support Specialist will provide regular updates to supervisor on status of projects or technical issues; and exercises judgment and creativity in selecting and applying procedures correctly and determines when to refer problems to the supervisor or next level of support. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or closely related field with a minimum 3 years of experience with IT hardware and software implementation and analysis for internal customers • Technical aptitude • Basic Understanding of business practices • Basic knowledge of databases, system security, troubleshooting and use of diagnostic tools • Problem-solving aptitude • Highly motivated, driven, and self-starting. • Excellent time management & organizational / networking skills • Excellent attention to detail and follow-up skills • Advanced Microsoft Office skills: Word, Excel, and Outlook • Excellent time management & organizational skills • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff
