Job Description:
As the Maintenance Lead Technician, your chief responsibility will be to lead a team in preserving the excellent condition and operational readiness of our facility. This includes conducting diagnostic assessments, scheduling repairs, and performing maintenance on all plant equipment. You’ll also develop preventative maintenance procedures, document completed work orders, and handle other assignments to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient facility. This role is physically active, involving tasks such as maneuvering around heavy equipment, bending, climbing, crawling, and lifting objects weighing approximately 40 pounds. Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Mechanical inclination and willingness to learn
Minimum age requirement of 18 years
Preferred qualifications:
Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school in a related field
Knowledge of hazardous material handling
OSHA training
4+ years of maintenance work experience, including pumps, gearboxes, and loader machinery
Strong English communication skills, as you’ll interact with internal staff
Knowledge in these areas preferred:
Basic industrial equipment maintenance (belts, pulleys, sheaves, grease bearings)
Ability to read gauges
Electrical- 600c- 24 v wiring motors 3 phase
Troubleshooting electrical 460v and below
Troubleshoot wire plugs, switches and lighting to include 227v
Change fuses, knowledge of breaker panels
Plumbing (sinks, faucets, soldering copper, repairing PVC)
Repair and replace piping
Carpentry
Alarms
Pumps
