Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Responsible for ensuring product meets customer specifications and requirements
•Follows all processes and procedures for the quality department and all standard operating procedures and work instructions for the production department
•Reads and interest customer drawings/prints, specifications and requirements and assists production department with decisions regarding quality
•Assistant to the Production Supervisor
• Participates in pass down meetings at the beginning and end of shift
•Able to use various test and measuring equipment and gauges for inspection of product
•Provide feedback to the other departments on key quality inspection results
•Coordinates with production supervisors on startups and when parts have been approved for production
•Responsible for collecting molded product at various times throughout the shift from the productions floor
•Performs first article inspection on productions molds prior to customer approval
•Instructs production operators on how to determine acceptable and non-acceptable parts
•Assists with training of new employees
•Performs in-process and key quality dimensional inspections on molded product
•Verify production run quantities, packaging and labels
•Completes all final inspections of product including all documents that are required for shipping (C of C, Production Inspection reports, material certificates)
•Abel to perform job requirements of production operator and can operate molding machine job duties when needed •Recommend means of improving current process that are in place under QMS
•Monitors the production schedule with the number of parts being produced
•Maintains historical retain library
•Assists Quality Manager in dispositions of NCR’s, CAPA’s, RMA’s
Requirements: 1 year minimal experience, Must be able to read, write and speak English, Must be able to lift up to 40#'s, etc
