Position: Mechanical Drafter (Inventor Proficient)
Location: USA Parkway, NV
Pay Range: $24.00 – $28.00/hour (based on education and experience)
Industry: Industrial Fabrication / Engineering

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Drafter with strong proficiency in Autodesk Inventor to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in industrial drafting who is passionate about precision and design. You’ll be responsible for creating detailed shop and fabrication drawings for custom industrial products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create accurate and detailed fabrication/shop drawings using Autodesk Inventor (Mechanical Desktop)
• Interpret and work from engineering sketches, specifications, and blueprints
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability
• Maintain drawing standards and documentation for production use
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in drafting processes and design quality
• Support the team by completing related tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of recent experience in industrial drafting
• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor (Mechanical Desktop) is required
• Must provide work samples demonstrating drafting capabilities
• Strong mechanical aptitude and solid math skills
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings
• Completion of a Drafting Technology Program or Associate’s degree preferred
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
