Job Summary Work with the Site EHS Leader and the 14001 team to further drive the overall journey of Environmental, Safety excellence by consistently executing key initiatives, maintaining compliance record-keeping (manually or in GenSuite), actions and outcomes described below: Duties and Responsibilities: Safety · Follow up on all good catches until resolved. · Assist with month end documentation of all leading indicators for safety, including T3P’s, good catches, and appropriate filing or documentation. · Monthly inspections of fire extinguishers, eye wash stations, first aid kits. · Champion safety committee and execute (or ensure completion of) action plans · PPE and safety equipment orders as needed · Take ownership of minor safety related issues in real time, and escalate safety related issues as appropriate for the situation. · Complete monthly GEMBA walks and T3P’s as assigned. · Perform all other duties assigned Environmental: Air · Perform daily visible emissions, natural gas readings, odor checks and monthly visible emissions readings. · Assist Environmental Manager with daily/monthly production and throughput report · Monthly/Quarterly Mist eliminator PMs (Manish to provide link) *record keeping task · Perform All other Duties Assigned Stormwater · Quarterly facility inspections and quarterly visual assessment of stormwater discharges · Annual stormwater training as needed and inspection report · Manage the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWP3), annual review, training, and establishment of the SWP3 team (develop meeting schedule) · Daily/weekly compliance inspections to include findings and corrective actions · Spill kit inspections Waste · Weekly hazardous, non-hazardous, universal, and satellite drum inspections · Coordinate waste pickups, waste manifest documentation and recordkeeping · Waste determinations, waste training and maintenance of a waste matrix SPCC · Manage the Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures Plan · Conduct monthly inspections of portable containers (totes and drums) · Recordkeeping of the monthly and annual SPCC inspections. o Will assist Manit department on inspections, will take care of the recordkeeping and tracking of any issues, repairs, corrective actions). Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: · Knowledge of basic EHS principles and Path to Zero program and expectations · ISO 14001 Environmental standards Education and Experience: · Required: o High School diploma or GED o Minimum 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment · Preferred: o ISO 14001 and OSHA 30-hour certification Working Conditions: · Work environment consistent with a plant manufacturing environment · Inside and/or outside weather conditions/exposure
