Administrative and Customer Service Support Experience & Qualifications 5+ years in accounting and administrative roles or 3 years and an AA. BA preferred. Intermediate+ proficiency in Excel and MS Office. Strong attention to detail and organization. Able to analyze and recommend, not just report data. Self-starter with a team-oriented mindset; thrives in fast-paced environments. Adaptable, coachable, and eager to learn across functions. Comfortable working across multiple departments and on cross-functional projects. Purchasing Responsibilities Manage purchase orders and vendor negotiations to optimize costs, freight, and inventory levels. Track and report order status; maintain accurate vendor records. Review inventory for shortages or dead stock; support cycle counts and suggest improvements. Create part numbers, invoices, and logistics schedules promptly. Ensure compliance with tariffs and import/export procedures. Communicate PO issues quickly to key teams. Accounting Responsibilities Handle local check deposits, credit apps, tax issues, and lien processing. Respond to customer finance inquiries and follow up on past-due accounts. Onboard new customers and maintain accurate system records. Support AP/AR tasks, inbound inventory receipts, audits, RMAs, and expense reporting. Administrative & Customer Support Provide front-line customer service via phone and email; resolve or escalate issues. Maintain accurate support logs and CRM records. Complete forms, edit documents, and manage general purchasing. Assist with quotes, tradeshow coordination, and promotional setup. Support internal requests and foster a positive customer experience. Identify process improvements for admin and support workflows. Additional Responsibilities Perform other duties as assigned to support team and organizational goals.
