Treatment System Operator – Day Shift

Location: Silver Springs, NV
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Hours subject to change; overtime may be required)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Treatment System Operator to assist in the operation and control of various industrial systems. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience with specialized equipment and the opportunity to grow within a fast-paced industrial environment. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player with a strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor major systems including boilers, pressure vessels, vacuum and condensate recovery systems, preservative mix and transfer systems, hazardous and solid waste processing, charge transfer tables, and emergency response equipment.
• Change treatment charges and inspect materials for conformance.
• Inspect binders and cables, and safely move and store charges.
• Record and document system activity to ensure accurate processing in compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures.
• Clean and maintain system components and work areas.
• Communicate operational information clearly and effectively to supervisors and team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support operational needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve issues accurately.
• Comfortable working around industrial equipment and systems.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the role.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs periodically.
• Comfortable working in an industrial environment with exposure to heat, noise, and machinery.
• Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
