Job Title: Delivery Driver – Mattress & Furniture


Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Delivery Driver to join our mattress and furniture company. This role involves driving a box truck to deliver and set up products at customer locations. The ideal candidate is dependable, customer-service oriented, and able to handle the physical demands of moving and installing mattresses and furniture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a company box truck to deliver mattresses and furniture to customer homes and businesses.

  • Load, unload, and maneuver heavy items (50+ lbs) with care and efficiency.

  • Assemble and set up products at customer locations, ensuring correct placement and installation.

  • Provide excellent customer service by being professional, courteous, and respectful in every interaction.

  • Inspect products for damages and ensure accurate orders before delivery.

  • Complete delivery paperwork, logs, and route documentation accurately.

  • Follow all DOT regulations, company safety procedures, and traffic laws.

  • Perform routine inspections of the delivery vehicle and report any maintenance needs.

  • Assist warehouse team with inventory, loading, and organization when not on deliveries.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required (CDL not required, but box truck experience preferred).

  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, including THC.

  • Previous delivery or moving experience preferred (furniture/mattress industry a plus).

  • Ability to regularly lift, carry, and maneuver 50+ lbs.

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

  • Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.

  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.

  • Regularly handle heavy items (50+ lbs or more with assistance).

  • Comfortable driving and operating a box truck in various conditions.
