Production Worker

POSITION SUMMARY: To operate the hammer mills and communitors effectively and efficiently for the processing of materials. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Operation of mills and communitors for the purpose of processing Material handling (raw, In-Process and finished) Loading hoppers Observance of compaction operation (i.e. condition of material, equipment). Maintaining a clean and orderly work environment Ensures that all safety procedures are followed. Eye, hearing and other safety devices are to be worn at all times REQUIREMENTS: Ability to effectively communicate with supervisor and other associates Detail orientated with basic math skills Basic English skills (reading and writing) preferred Physical requirements: While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to walk, sit, talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
