CNC Machinist

Job Title: CNC Machinist
Location: Carson City, NV
Pay Rate: $25/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools such as grinding and milling machines to produce precision-manufactured parts. The machinist will work with both manual and automated equipment, interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate production. This role reports to the Cell Supervisor/Work Leader and is responsible for completing assigned tasks with precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC and manual machining equipment to produce or repair parts.
• Follow blueprints and technical drawings to meet precise specifications.
• Maintain equipment and ensure safe operation.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on manufacturing machining experience.
• Trade school education or machining certificate preferred.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Office.
• Must be able to pass initial and annual hearing and vision exams.

Physical Requirements:

• Occasionally sit and lift/move up to 30 lbs.
• Regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 500 lbs with equipment.
• Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach.
• Use hands for typing and handling materials.
• Must have close, distance, and color vision with focus adjustment.
