Electrical Technician  – 1st Shift
Location: Carson City, NV
Shift: Morning | 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM (includes 30-minute break)

Job Summary

seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join its Carson City team. This role involves troubleshooting, installing, and testing electronic control systems, including CNC and PLC systems. Candidates should have a strong background in electronics and mechanical systems.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Background in electronics, mechanical engineering, or machinist/tool & die work

Licenses & Certifications:

• Must pass job-related test
• Completion of electronics school or equivalent
• Laser and process instrumentation training preferred

Skills:

• Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Basic math and computer skills
• Logical thinking and good hand dexterity

Responsibilities

Primary Duties:

• Troubleshoot electronic systems (temperature control, CNC, PLC)
• Install and test control systems
• Troubleshoot laser systems
• Order parts per manufacturer specifications
• Ensure compliance with Repair Station Manual (RSM) and Quality Control Management (QCM)
• Promote ISO/Total Customer Satisfaction (TCS) standards
• Cross-train department employees
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies
• Uphold Corporate Code of Ethical Standards
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance

Marginal Duties:

• CNC mechanical repair and setup
• Operate mills, lathes, grinders, EDM, P/S furnaces
• Control automatic PLC logic
• Perform other facility tasks as needed
