Job Overview

The Bander is responsible for operating banding equipment to securely and efficiently package products into bundles or pallets, ensuring they are ready for shipment or storage. This role works closely with production and logistics teams to maintain quality standards and meet daily output goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate banding machinery to bundle finished products, adjusting settings for various sizes and materials
• Inspect products before and after banding to ensure they meet quality and safety standards
• Set up, adjust, and calibrate banding machines according to production specifications
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues as needed
• Maintain records of quantities bundled, machine settings, and any maintenance tasks
• Clean and organize the work area, performing routine maintenance on equipment
• Follow safety protocols, including proper handling of materials and use of personal protective equipment

Qualifications & Skills

• Prior experience in banding, packaging, or a related manufacturing environment
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure secure banding and product integrity
• Ability to handle repetitive physical tasks and lift up to 50 lbs
• Effective communication and teamwork skills for coordinating with production and shipping teams
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Working Conditions

• Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule
• Standard industrial/manufacturing environment
• Required to stand, walk, bend, and lift regularly (up to 50 lbs)
