Job Description:
is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for our Service Center in the greater Minden area. The role involves performing machining operations on conventional and CNC machines with a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and maintain a variety of machine tools for precision machining (turning, milling, boring, drilling).
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and schematics.
• Verify dimensions using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring instruments.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines and equipment.
• Safely handle piece parts up to 50 lbs using cranes, forklifts, and hand tools.
• Conduct self-inspection of work and maintain a safe work environment.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a machine shop environment.
• Working knowledge of machine shop math and ability to read engineering drawings.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion of a CNC certificate or degree program OR 2 years of CNC operating experience.
• Technical training in blueprint reading and geometric tolerances.
