We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our team. This role involves operating heavy-duty forklifts to move large bundles of pipe from rail cars to inside the warehouse. The position requires working outdoors approximately 80% of the time and handling equipment with capacities of 10,000 lbs and 5,000 lbs. Candidates must have extensive experience operating forklifts in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate 10,000 lb and 5,000 lb forklifts to transport bundles of pipe from rail cars to designated warehouse areas
• Load and unload materials efficiently while maintaining product integrity
• Inspect forklifts daily and perform basic maintenance checks to ensure safe operation
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain compliance with OSHA standards
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate material movement
• Maintain accurate records of material transfers and equipment usage

Qualifications & Skills

• Extensive experience operating heavy-duty forklifts (10,000 lb and 5,000 lb capacity)
• Proven ability to handle large, heavy materials safely and efficiently
• Strong understanding of forklift safety procedures and best practices
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods
• Physical capability to perform repetitive lifting, bending, and standing tasks
• Excellent attention to detail and situational awareness
• Valid forklift certification preferred
