Filler Operator 

Shift:

6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Job Description:

Summary:
Supports production efforts through a variety of tasks to maintain production levels and minimize turnaround time, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Forklift certification or ability to pass certification test
• Steel-toed boots, hard hats, and safety glasses required
• Ability to read and interpret procedure manuals, operating instructions, and safety rules
• Basic computer skills for company processes and training

Physical Requirements:

• Routinely lifts, carries, and moves raw materials or products weighing up to 100+ lbs
• Standing/kneeling/walking on concrete for ~90% of the workday
• Occasional forklift operation (up to 10% of the day)
• Frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling; occasional sitting and climbing

Essential Functions:

• Fill cans/containers/totes/drums with product to specified weights
• Label and box products accurately for shipment
• Complete First Piece Inspection Forms
• Clean vessels/tanks using appropriate PPE
• Store waste drums on pallets and maintain cleanliness
• Attach correct arm lock to containers
• Use and read scales
• Setup workstation and count finished goods
• Operate stretch wrapper and handheld scanners
• Maintain a clean work environment and follow all policies
• Perform additional duties as assigned
• Commit to safety and quality programs

Note:
As of now, forklift driving is not required, but may be needed in the future.
