Lead Safety Trainer

Job Title: Industrial Lead Safety Trainer Location: Minden, NV Department: Safety / Training Position Overview: We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Industrial Safety Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, delivering, and maintaining effective safety training programs for all industrial employees. This role ensures compliance with OSHA and company safety standards while fostering a culture of safety awareness and prevention across all operations. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and update industrial safety training programs for employees at all levels. Conduct in-person and virtual safety training sessions, including orientation for new hires and refresher courses. Evaluate employee understanding through assessments, observation, and feedback. Maintain accurate records of all training sessions and certifications. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of equipment, facilities, and work processes. Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions to management. Stay current with OSHA regulations, industry standards, and best practices in workplace safety. Collaborate with department managers to ensure safety compliance in all operational areas. Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement. Qualifications: Proven experience in industrial safety training or a related role. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to develop and deliver engaging training programs. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills. Certification in Safety (e.g., CSP, CHST, OSHA Trainer certifications) preferred. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple departments. Physical Requirements: Ability to walk and inspect industrial facilities, lift equipment up to [XX lbs], and demonstrate safety procedures.
