Job Title: CNC Operator
Shift: Morning (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Job Description:
- CNC mill and/or lathe setup
- Recognize trends in machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain stringent part requirements
- Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
- Complete preventative maintenance requirements
- Collaborate with production planning and quality control departments to achieve on-time delivery, quality, and profitability goals
- Suggest improvements in cost reduction, processes, quality, and productivity
Skills and Qualifications:
- Must have own tools
- Ability to read prints
- Perform setup operations including verification of part compliance
- Ability to measure all parts using shop tools
- Ability to perform offsets on machines
- Experience with Mori Seiki, Haas, and Tree Citizen is a huge plus
- Strong math skills and attention to detail
- Strong work ethic
