Work as a Team assembler.
• Successful candidate will work as a member of departmental team repetitively operating air/electrical power hand tools and repetitively assembling/installing component parts with fasteners.
• Maintain basic housekeeping including sweeping and use of electronic cleaning equipment.
• Complete tasks and duties assigned by department supervisor.
• Comply with safety rules, guidelines, and employee expectations.
• Follow all plant safety rules, guidelines, and expectations.
• Follow standard work. Complete tasks within task time.
• Physical demands of the position include: Frequent handling and lifting of parts and equipment; frequent standing, walking, reaching at waist level, pushing/pulling, grasping, pinching and fine motor dexterity; occasionally sitting, reaching overhead, reaching at shoulder level, reaching at knee and floor level, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, crawling, climbing stairs/ladders, pivoting, and twisting. Handling, lifting, and carrying parts/equipment – maximum 54lbs. and pushing/pulling 20 lbs.
• Ability to work with parts/equipment which may be hot and/or wet.
• Ability to work in loud or noisy environment.
• Perform associated and other duties as required.
