Job Duties
-
Loads truck with products in accordance with pack slip
-
Secures loaded product as appropriate for safe transportation of goods
-
Observes speed limits and obeys all road signs
-
Coordinates with job site personnel to facilitate unloading of shipment
-
Unloads deliveries for the purpose of distributing shipment at assigned site locations and/or to appropriate individuals
-
Complies with job site access and safety requirements
-
Requests recipient's signature on delivered items as necessary
-
Accepts payments against invoices as necessary
-
Informs supervisor of any vehicle problems
-
Heavy lifting of packages and other equipment
-
Keeps accurate driving records (i.e. mileage and gas receipts)
-
Performs simple vehicle maintenance (i.e. cleaning interior and exterior, taking vehicle for state inspections, filling tires with air, etc.)
-
Maintains a clean and neat company vehicle
-
Maintains inventory of assigned equipment and provides maintenance to said equipment in accordance with company standards
-
Assists installation crews with material movement and delivery
-
Notifies shipping and receiving manager of any deficiencies or damages to delivered material
-
All other duties as assigned for the successful execution and/or completion of various projects whether or not specifically assigned; all duties will include (but is not limited to) various Architectural Division 8, Inc. locations
Skills/Qualifications:

Knowledge of organizational and safety operations and procedures, safety methods and practices
-
Knowledge of applicable federal, state, county, and local laws, regulations, and requirements
-
Knowledge of basic arithmetic
-
Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with individuals of varying social and cultural backgrounds and with co-workers at all levels
-
Ability to follow instructions in verbal and written format
-
Ability to demonstrate moral character, honesty, tact, fairness, lack of prejudice and desire to help when dealing with people; creates and promotes a harmonious work environment

Ability to analyze situations and adopt appropriate courses of action using independent judgment

Ability to demonstrate and strive for excellence in hollow metal grinding and continually seeks improvement in results

Ability to adhere to all safety practices; internal and at job sites

Ability to work extended hours and various work schedules

Education, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
-
High school graduate or holder of a G.E.D. or equivalent training
-
Experience in customer service
-
Product knowledge or industry experience preferred
-
Current State of Texas Driver’s License and clean driving record
-
Clean criminal background that adheres to EEO and other government regulations
