This position is for a Texas company specializing in the fabrication and installation of metal wall and roof systems. Contractor has been a leader in the architectural metalwork industry providing high-quality services since 1978. We have worked on some of the largest, most complex projects in the area. As a Sheet Metal Superintendent you provide the necessary leadership to ensure that all projects are organized to insure the very best Customer Service, Quality Workmanship, Safety and Timely Productivity.


Responsibilities:


· Review project requirements with Project Manager


· Preplan, coordinate schedule and manpower requirements


· Inspect sites and ensure proper installation procedures are followed


· Ensure crews follow safe work practices and are fully committed to Byrne Metals safety procedures


· Provides day-to-day on-site supervision of all field staff including foreman, installers and subcontractors


· Coordinates with Project Managers and upper level managers and communicates information to field staff


· Provide information daily to help direct manpower in the most efficient, cost-effective manner


· Report daily on progress of jobs


· Responsible for the quality of the installed work and to make sure there are no deviations from the job specifications without approval.


· Attend all kick off meetings and site meetings related to projects


Job Qualifications/Requirements


5+ years of experience in the Architectural Metals Systems in a supervisory capacity within the Sheet Metal/Roofing/Construction Industry

Local market knowledge preferred

Experience installing and managing installation crews of the following crafts: Composite Metal Panels, Insulated Metal Panels, Single Skin Metal Panels, Perforated Panels

Firm understanding of all aspects of commercial wall and roofing construction, including reading plans and specifications

Bilingual - Spanish (a plus but not required)
